Beauty and well-being for all
Our Commitment to Sustainable Beauty
In an ever-changing world, Argital is committed to promoting authentic wellbeing
through conscious beauty that embraces nature and community. Our mission goes beyond
the simple production of cosmetics; we wish to create a profound bond between humanity and the environment,
by supporting social and cultural initiatives that enhance our heritage and respect the dignity of every
individual.
We actively collaborate with Waldorf schools, contributing to the formation of young and sensitive minds
Every product we make is not only a gesture of personal care, but also a step towards a more sustainable and just future, where beauty is reflected in mutual respect and social responsibility.
Solidarity Fund for Waldorf Schools
Argital has created a Solidarity Fund for Waldorf Schools, a project to promote and spread Waldorf pedagogy, based on anthroposophical principles and values.
The Project has been shared with the Italian Federation of Waldorf Schools. Each school that chooses to join the project is given a coupon code to be used to make purchases on www.argital.it.
Orders are shipped throughout Italy, with a minimum charge of €30.00 shipping costs are included.
The coupon code, or promotional code, has a dual function:
- on the one hand, use of the code assigns an immediate discount on every single purchase made by the school’s parents;
- on the other, it allows the school to receive a donation.
Disbursement of the Solidarity Fund for Waldorf Schools
Donations will be disbursed by Argital to all schools that are part of the project every six months.
How to access the Solidarity Fund for Waldorf schools
Schools that want to join the project can contact the Solidarity Fund manager Livia Speroni Cardi at the following e-mail address: livia.speroni@argital.it.
Joining the project is very simple:
Fill in a form with all the school’s data;
Send in the school’s charter;
Identify among the parents a volunteer contact person who will promote the initiative in their school and liaise with the Solidarity Fund manager.
Cultural events in schools
Argital also concretely supports the Waldorf project from a cultural point of view, organising some events both in presence, when possible, and via web platforms. Among the activities, conferences held by Dr. Ferraro are also planned upon request. Two proposals are currently active:
The vitalising, protective, and sanitising forces of Clay and the Gold essential oil mix Zoom video conference by Livia Speroni Cardi the meeting deals with the nature of green clay, from its cultivation to its many uses in daily life, and the sanitising aspect of clay combined with the 15 essential oil mix that safely respects the planet and the human organism. The vital forces of clay and eurythmy workshop by Livia Speroni Cardi eurythmist the experiential workshop consists of three parts
- the first dialogical part with projections of images on clay, from its excavation to its uses, together with knowledge of essential oils;
- the second part, practical, with social Eurythmy, to work, understand and modify the space between people in the school organism together, nourishing the vital forces;
- the third part, the self-treatment workshop, provides all the products from the facial line to give our skin vitality, guiding the steps from cleansing to masks, tonics to creams, etc.
- Finally, space for questions in front of an herbal tea, accompanied by emotional chocolate and some sweets prepared by the participants.
In order to encourage fundraising, the contact persons may invite donations to the school to register for the event so that it becomes not only a source of knowledge, but also an economic contribution to the school’s activities.
Any donation is reserved for the school and no products are ever offered for sale. All products or raw materials used are for the exclusive use of the workshops. Product costs and travel expenses are borne by Argital.
The Argital Solidarity Fund
has been accepted as a project to be developed in Waldorf schools in China
Dr Ferraro gave a lecture on clay at several meetings in Chinese Waldorf schools in 2018.
On that occasion he met the Taiwanese teachers, founders and impulsers of Waldorf pedagogy in China, with whom there was a rich exchange of ideas thanks to which Argital was able to add the Chinese part to the new edition of ‘The Soul and Clay’. On that occasion, Dr Ferraro spoke about the Waldorf school solidarity project, which was received with great enthusiasm.
School trips to Argital headquarters in Sicily
Argital has always hosted school groups of all ages interested in visiting the company.
It is possible to witness the various moments in the realisation of products from production, to dynamisation, to packaging.
You can also visit the green clay quarry, a place where you can still admire marine fossils from millions of years ago. Argital is located in the extreme south of Sicily, two hours from the Valley of the Temples.
